Solar Trailer - Mobile Power System 2

This enclosed solar trailer (built for a Government department) features a solar booster to allow the ten (10) BP Solar 125W solar panels to produce in excess of 5.5kWh per day of usable power. The solar panel arrays fold up onto the roof for transportation and are deployed with the assistance of the opposing array acting as a counterweight. This method allows one person to safely deploy the arrays. The insulated trailer houses the battery bank, equipment rack and a small workbench. The battery bank consists of 8 x 12V Concorde Lifeline 306Ah(C100) sealed AGM deep cycle batteries which are safe, maintenance-free and offer a long service life.

We have also included a 24VDC 45A Electric-Start Diesel Battery Charger on the drawbar as an emergency back-up.
