18.4kW Grid Feed Solar System - Bond University School of Sustainable Development Building

Solar Online Australia was commissioned to install the grid feed power system for Australia's first 6 Star Green Star certified educational building. The 6 Star rating was awarded by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and is regarded as representing a 'World Leadership' status for sustainable building design.

The solar array is composed of 105 x Sharp 175W solar modules, divided into 3 groups, which are then fed to 3 x Fronius IG60 6700W grid feed inverters.

The solar array will produce an average of approximately 78kWh per day which has shown to cover about half the power consumption of the entire building.
